Give Thanks To The Lord, For His Love Endures Forever!

Happy Thanksgiving Day, 2025!
We have so much to be thankful for, that we just take for granted. The very breath we take is something to be thankful for; for it is God who allows us to breathe from one moment to the next. If we are not careful, we tend to focus on the negatives instead of the positives. Today, we are reminded to be thankful, to celebrate what brings us hope, love, joy, and peace. Some celebrate with friends and family, some celebrate alone at home. Some don’t even celebrate at all, instead, choosing to focus on the negative, instead of the positive. But there is always something to be thankful for, and after we think about it, we will find more to be thankful for. I pray you find much to be thankful for today, and in the years ahead.
While looking up scriptures on being thankful I found one that touched me. Before the Israelites went into battle they would have the musicians go out ahead of the soldiers to worship God. When they did this, they won every battle. This is part of what they sang…according to 2 Chronicles 20:21...
After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the LORD and to praise him for the splendor of His holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying: “Give thanks to the LORD, for his love endures forever.”
No matter what battle you may be going through, be thankful. Why? Because God’s love endures forever. If He gave up on us and didn’t love us anymore, we would all be doomed! But…no matter how much we mess up…His love endures forever! Now that is something to be grateful for!
So Happy Thanksgiving! Jesus loves you forever!
