As an art teacher I make sample paintings to show my students as an example for their lesson. I was planning to use this as a sample for an advanced paint party class. After painting it, I realized it was too complicated to finish in a 2-3 hour paint party class. So I just took my time with it and it evolved into this. I couldn't think of a name for it, so I posted it on Facebook and held a contest to "name that painting". The winner named it for me and this is her photo of receiving her prize. Congratulations to Evelyn for being the winner!
I like to add scripture with all my paintings, so I chose this for this painting.
